Stuart Davies - Managing Director;
Treat others as they would like to be treated
Stuart originally started LocalRus in 2002, following a background within the military where he learned about camaraderie, teamwork, managing expectations and personnel management.
Serving from September 1985 until June 1995 in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) as a vehicle mechanic, Stuart developed operations and processes for running productive, efficient workshop departments. These base systems are still used in workshops to date, albeit now computerised
From June 1995 until September 2007 Stuart changed direction, becoming a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps (AAC). Late in 2002 Stuart joined Global Eagle, a team put together attempting to become the first to circumnavigate the globe in a gyroplane.
During 2002 Stuart set up LocalRus after four years of building websites on his own time, this on the back of 15years of experience with basic coding of computers.
In 2007 Stuart finally left the military after 22 years to focus his attention fully to a business that was growing at pace. Since this time the growth has continued and the business now employs 5 staff with over 40 clients. Stuart, like many others who choose to run their own business, believes that hard work, is the only way to succeed and is always looking toward new markets and products to add further value to his clients.
Stuart enjoys watching motor racing and hopes one day soon to visit a formula one grand prix and meet the drivers, he also enjoys karting and quad bikes. Other sports he enjoys are football, hockey and Judo.
Stuart believes in working hard and playing hard, something from the military days, whilst always maintaining the highest professional standards.

Holly Blythman - Trainee website designer;
I have only worked at LocalRus for a short period of time, however as the newest member of the team, I have been welcomed by clients and colleagues alike, allowing me to settle down very quickly, and with confidence. Having come straight from school, my role at LocalRus is very varied and includes business administration within the company and also learning about software development and website development. All are very different and interesting and the variety is great.
Outside of work I like to attend music related events and socialise with friends.
